Kosmos Games UK is celebrating a hugely successful and biggest ever UK Games Expo with two awards and a successful weekend of new game launches.

The success started before the Expo officially opened with the Judge’s Choice Awards where the highly anticipated Kosmos game Australis won the ‘Best Dice Game’ award.

Friday was the first day of the Expo and within minutes of opening the Kosmos stand was swamped with eager gamers queuing up to have demos of the new releases. Australis, Transgalactica, Rock Hard 1977, The Gang and Ingenious 3D were among the many titles available to try.

Within the first 90 minutes of the 2025 UK Games Expo opening Transgalactica had completely sold out. The second delivery of stock also sold out by the end of the weekend. Australis was also proving to be hugely popular with its stunning artwork and multiple ways of scoring being a massive draw for visitors to the stand.

Kosmos took part in the Pin Collective with a limited-edition pin badge based on the popular EXIT range of games to celebrate the launch of Exit: Adventures on Catan. We will have more pins next year!

Saturday had a family day feel with the crowds coming to the stand from the opening at 9am all the way through to the 6pm close. The demo team happily showed hundreds of visitors all the Kosmos, Devir and Foxmind games on the stand. Queues formed at the stand shop, particularly for Exit: Adventures on Catan, as the first crossover Exit game launched at the Expo, it was in high demand.

Australis Win The People’s Choice Award

Towards the end of the final day the Kosmos team were invited by the show organisers to come and receive the highly coveted ‘People’s Choice Award’ for Australis, which was collected by Wolfgang Luedtke, the senior editor and game scout for Kosmos Germany.

Overall, the show was a phenomenal success for Kosmos Games UK which was also celebrating its 10th year at the UK Games Expo. Next years is set to be even bigger, with a whole host of new gaming delights!
